We are in the era of numerous possibilities. With the democratisation of knowledge, direct access to education and a more diverse economic structure, women are presented with unprecedented freedom to pursue their careers, in ways that were unimaginable decades ago. Hence, the South China Morning Post is presenting to you “Women of Our Time 2023”, shedding light on the many career possibilities for young women, upskilling and reskilling the female workforce and women entrepreneurship, and featuring dialogues with women leaders and aspiring women in Hong Kong and Asia.
After two years of running this flagship event as virtual regional conferences since its inception in 2020, Women Of Our Time 2023 will now take place over one week with in-person events and virtual activations, culminating in a gala dinner to take place on March 8 in Hong Kong. Led by the South China Morning Post, Women Of Our Time 2023 will be co-created, led and supported by women. Echoing with theme of International Women’s Day 2023, the 2023 Edition of Women of Our Time is set to provoke conversations and changes to #EmbraceEquality through empowering women achievement in careers. The programme puts the focus on generations of women leaders in Hong Kong through a series of events that include a main conference and a gala dinner, with further amplification of inspiring conversations through SCMP’s digital platforms to take our message to a wider, regional audience.
